Telemarketers - Lowest forms of life on Earth?

In recent times, there seems to have been evolved a new species of humans, they look just exactly like us, breathe like us, walk, talk, commute, and all their activities are just like us. They roam freely among all of us - they are the tele-marketers.

Commerical breaks in favorite shows have led me to channel skipping, leading me to observe these species in their own habitat, where they are the most at ease, and show their true characteristics:

Most of them are very talkative; read - words coming out of the mouth, but may not necessarily make sense.

Each of these individuals has EVERY item that they sell on their show at home. They and their entire family loves those items. They cannot live without those items. And they urge our species to realize that we cannot live without those items either. Interesting characteristic, isnt it?!

They have tremendous confidence in the items which they are selling - every item that they lay their hands on becomes "better than the competition." Indeed, they do indulge in supposedly comparitive tests, which most of the time may be near non-sensical, or even failures, but ahh the confidence.

The next day, they may sell items from the competitor, and now, these are better than its competitors (yesterdays items!)

Their belief in every item having a limited quantity for sale during a show is very strong. The next 10 minutes may make or break your life. The whole show is then repeated the next day, with the same item, quantity, and the make or break 10 minutes. History repeats iteself?

The items that these species propogate are almost always over-priced, near atrocious, and almost un-necessary.

I got a chance to see a member of this species interacting with one of us - the individual was selling a hideous orange broach of some sort. A nice-looking model was wearing it. And the individual says - "Look at her (points to the model)... She does not even have a good personality, but the broach looks so good inspite of that." LOL.
